75th Anniversary Exhibit of the 4th World Scout Jamboree in Godollo, Hungary

Opening on March 1, 2008 at The Hungarian Heritage Museum --
Exhibit Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the 4th World Scout Jamboree, the gathering of Boy Scouts from all over the world, which was held in Godollo, Hungary in 1933, consists of a wide variety of memorabilia and many wonderful original historical items. A unique exhibit of interest to anyone of any nationality, current and former Scouts and families.
Second exhibit opening simultaneously at the Museum -
Hungarian Postage Stamps -- exhibit of the stamps issued by the Hungarian Postal Service over the 140 years of its existence. The collection of stamps of Hungary from 1871 to the present commemorate historical events both Hungarian and international, athletics, important figures, Hungarian culture, literature, and art, including extensive collection of unique stamps issued for each naval vessel of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
For beginner or avid collector, history and art buff, young and old.
Opening reception for both exhibits on March 1 from 3 - 5 pm is open to the public. Everyone welcome.
Both exhibits will be on display until June 30, 2008.
The Museum is free and open to the public during the Museum's regular hours. The Hungarian Museum is located in the Galleria, 1309 E. 9th Street in downtown Cleveland. Open Wed, Thurs, Sat 11 - 3 and Fri 11-5. Phone number 216-523-3900.
