Wayne "Frank" Franklin Wright Sr., age 73 of Diamond, formerly of Streetsboro, can proudly say I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course; swing wide the heavenly gates Im coming home. Mr. Wright passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Born March 23, 1935, in Pike Township, Ohio, a son of the late E. Franklin and Goldie (nee McGarvey) Wright, Wayne was a member of the Atwater Church of the Nazarene. He was a truck driver for several years and later retired from the Oak Rubber Company in 1993. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a former Boy Scout Troop Leader in Streetsboro, and enjoyed his CB radio, spending time on his computer, and taking pictures. Frank was a nature lover and people person, who was a friend to everyone he met. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Rebecca Jane (nee Salway) Wright; children: Pamela (Garey) Moors of Streetsboro, Wayne (Donna Nemcheck) Wright Jr. of Twinsburg, Betty (Glenn) Hatala of Atwater, Rachel (John) Gibbner of Streetsboro; grandchildren: Rebecca (Matt) Fredmonsky, Gregory Moors, Daniel Wight, Heather Wight, Emily Hatala, Wayne Hatala, Robert Gibbner; brothers: Jack (Jackie) Wright, Larry (Pat) Wright; sisters: Dorothy (John) Zawaski, Yvonne Bauer, Judy (Ronald) Albaugh, Sandy Mosley, Carol (Rich) Kreiger, and Pat (Tom) Burkhart. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Harold and Chuck Wright, and sisters: Betty Ann McCaig and Marge Swietzer. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-4 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Neil Taylor on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
