Josephine Lewis, age 85 of Rootstown, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Longmeadow Care Center. Born October 13, 1922, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Joseph and Maggie (Henline) Hornor, Josephine always enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter: Sandra (Edward) Healy of Rootstown; grandchildren: Tammy Copen of Rootstown, Kimberly (Billy) Shehorn of Ravenna, Sandy (Orin) Rorabeck of Ravenna, Shane (Holley) Healy of Rootstown; great- grandchildren: Jason (Megan) Copen, Klayton Healy, Victoria Healy, Jeff Davenport; great-great-granddaughter: Gianna Copen; brother: Joe Hornor of Alliance. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Clifford Lewis, brother Lynn Horner, sisters: Merle Wilson, Bonnie Hornor, Nelly Vanscoy, Virginia Goodwin. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be officiated by Pastor John Angle on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 2:00 PM, at the Kent Freewill Baptist Church, 7013 Diagonal Rd., Kent, OH 44240. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home. Please share your memories at www.mem.com.
