Connie Lynn "Thomas" Zemelka 42 of Ravenna passed away Sunday May 11, 2008 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. She was born November 23, 1965 in Bedford, Ohio to Willis L. and Shirley M. (Riffle) Thomas. She has lived in Ravenna the past 13 years. and was a 1984 graduate from Streetsboro High School. Survivors include her parents Willis and Shirley Thomas of Streetsboro, her husband of 10 years Jimmie Zemelka, sons Ryan, Jeffery Zemelka, daughters Maegan, Sidney Thomas, brother Travis L. Thomas of Streetsboro, father and mother in law Jerry and Bernice Zemelka of Cuyahoga Falls, sisters in law Theresa Cline and Ginger Carroll and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Wednesday May 14, 2008 at the Shorts Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday May 15, 2008 with Pastor Gene Jolliff officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for Connie's Children care of Chase Bank.
