How much noise can two people make? Well, a heck of a lot if you are talking about the band DICK (Degenerates in Constant Khaos). Dick consists of Sally Sick on drums and Hagatha Rude, from Kent, Ohio, who sings and plays the "buitar""a creative hybrid bass/guitar combination. DICK has recently brought their original punk/hard rock sound to local venues, creating a buzz among those who see them for the first time. It is simply hard to believe that such a big sound can come from this two-piece band.
"Syren" is what happens when an experimental British rhythm section meet up with a talented singer/songwriter from Las Vegas. The all female Alternative/Rock trio, consisting of Erin, Jo, and Amanda have been moving audiences with their hypnotic melodies and vocals, powerful drumming, and jaw-dropping fretless bass since their formation in February 2007. Since then, the band has put together an incredible full-length album which they are now promoting in the mid-west. Syren will be heading to Europe in June to promote this album so we suggest you catch their captivating live performance while you can.
