James J. Trivelli, age 94 of Rootstown, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at his home. Born February 3, 1914, in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, a son of the late Henry and Betty (nee Velenosi) Trivelli, Jimmy was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. He was the owner and operator of Jimmys Bar in Ravenna, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 30 years Angie Trivelli; children: Betty Ann (Carl) Naso of Mooresville, NC, Hank (Mary) Trivelli of Stow, Joseph (Jean) Trivelli of Windermere, FL, Wayne (Renee) Trivelli of Mogadore, Debbie (Mick) Poole of Casselberry, FL, Sandra Diezman of Deland, FL; sisters: Mary Testa of Akron, Margaret (Americo) Bissiri of Fairlawn, and Joan (Ed) Vigluicci of Ravenna; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, and 23 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Trivelli, his brothers Angelo and William Trivelli, and his sisters Minnie Bechtel and Catherine Scarpitti. Friends will be received from 9:30-10:30 AM Friday at the Wood-Kortright- Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend John-Michael Lavelle on Friday at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
